This piece started with a blue & green background, inspired by the waters of the Buffalo River. Next, a layer of hand painted & distressed Aztec pattern with thick crackle. The iconic buffalo is a combination of rose gold & copper paint with copper leaf. It has a beautiful metallic shine that changes with the light.
